A hybrid Nym / Centralised Identity?

Whoops - spoke to soon, a bit later on Stefan introduces some sort of hybrid nym / centralised identifier which he claims to give the best of both worlds from the nymous identifier (what we use) and the fully delivered centralised one (that which governments probably would like to use in any national ID scheme). No details are forthcoming as yet, and it looks like a commercial product (probably based on Stefan's grab bag of patents) but certainly it will be interesting to see if there are new applications made possible by it.
